The 6th Annual Goals for Giving Hockey Benefit

The Linton’s Lightning and the Philadelphia Legends once again took to the ice on March 21, 2010, marking the 6th year that this event has taken place. Over $33,000.00 was raised this year, exceeding all goals! Thank you to all the generous advertisers and participants. A special thank you to Chris Dunton, President of Linton’s Managed Services and his team for their hard work and dedication to make this event such a wonderful success and now an NHS tradition.
A portion of the funds that were raised will be given to the NHS Human Services Parkside-Frankford clinic for a computer lab to be used for job search activities, resume preparation and computer literacy skills.
The remainder of the funds will be donated to the Fearless Flyers, the organization that gives kids with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play organized hockey.
