Lafayette Hill, PA:  Frank W. Guthridge, Jr. has been appointed Executive Director of the NHS Foundation effective January 4, 2010.  This announcement was made by The Honorable M. Joseph Rocks, Chairman and CEO of NHS Human Services and Michael Mitchell, Executive Vice President and Principle of The Graham Company, who is the Chairman of the Foundation Board.  “We are fortunate to have someone of Frank’s caliber and experience to help lead our Foundation to a new level of charitable giving,” Mr. Mitchell stated.  The Foundation raises funds to support programs sponsored by NHS Human Services, one of the largest providers of non- profit human services in the country.

Mr. Guthridge brings over 20 years of fundraising experience to this position, most recently at Elwyn, Inc. where he was Vice President of Development and Communications.  He has also served as the Director of Alumni Affairs and Director of Development at Valley Forge Military Academy.

NHS is a multi- service, multi- state provider with programs in the areas of mental health, addictive diseases, intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, juvenile justice, treatment foster care, education, elder care and traumatic brain injury. Headquartered in Lafayette Hill, PA, programs are provided in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Louisiana.
