Early Intervention

This program provides educational services to children ages 3-5 years old who exhibit a 25% or greater delay in the areas of communication, cognition, social/emotional, adaptive, sensory and physical development. Services include special instruction, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy. Multiple option s are available to parents to determine the most appropriate setting for their child to receive services including: in-home, preschool, head start, daycare, center based, speech and language groups and by appointment.

The program provides individualized service plans and programming to deliver care based on a child’s specific needs. Families are given assistance in setting up alternative services to include behavioral, in home therapy and financial assistance programs. The program is designed to provide a positive transition to kindergarten.
